I first picked up a pool cue in 1986. A few years later, I bought my very first cue, a basic €10 stick that was far from impressive. But that humble piece of wood became my canvas. I modified it endlessly, learning the ins and outs of cue craftsmanship through trial and error, until barely any of the original remained. Despite its rough appearance, that cue taught me a great deal. Sadly, it was eventually stolen, and with it, my time at the table came to an end.

A Return to the Game

Years later, my passion for pool was reignited, and I found myself back at the table. This time, I had a clearer understanding of what a high-quality cue should look and feel like. That curiosity led me to dive deeper into the art of cue craftsmanship, exploring what sets exceptional cues apart from the ordinary.
I studied everything from wood selection and proper seasoning to construction techniques, shaft tapers, and joint designs. I also looked into the finer details: adhesives, ferrule materials, and tip choices, all of which play a vital role in performance. I’ve always been driven by a desire to understand how things are built and what makes them work at their best.

Finding high-quality, reasonably priced cues in Spain has always been a challenge. Unlike in the U.S., custom cue makers are nearly unheard of here. Since 2007, I’ve been sourcing exceptional cues from around the world, carefully selecting pieces that meet high standards of craftsmanship and performance.
